Clients who embrace Christianity have tended to shy away from psychotherapy, believing that psychology and Christianity are inherently at odds with each other. I practice psychotherapy in a way which honours the deeply held traditions of the Christian faith while incorporating aspects of psychology which are both helpful and faithful to the teachings of Scripture.

I hold a Masters of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University. I also spent over 20 years involved in various Christian Leadership roles. I do not practice or hold to this religion any longer. In my clinical work, I work with clients who are processing spiritual abuse/trauma and I regularly work with clients who are navigating deconstruction. I believe it is important to clarify, I am affirming and fully accepting of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I consider myself an ally to this community. In my clinical work, I consider it an honour to work with members of this community who have been wounded by the Christian Church.
