St. Thomas, Ontario is a traditional city with a long history. Visitors should make a point to take in the many historic landmarks found within this quaint community. The railway system has played a vital role in the city’s growth and heritage, and is featured prominently in local attractions. Current Initiatives

Some other changes and plans for the city of St. Thomas may also help to treat and prevent mental illness�the St. Thomas and Elgin County Housing Strategy is designed to help families that face eviction, are going through divorce or separation, or any other problems.4 This can help people who are worried about financial problems or suffer from mental illness as a result of the stress that they are under. This plan is very important to the community and is currently in progress to help the people of St. Thomas.
