My role as your pschotherapist is less about telling you what to do (which is actually the easier part), I am here to help you clear away some of the junks that stop you from seeing and "doing" the answers. After that, I will help you reach your goal step by step.

I believe that working from a client-centred approach is essential in fostering lasting change. As such, I view each client as an expert in their own lives and integrate their goals in the therapeutic process. My approach draws on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (therapy through relationship), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and neurophysiological research. I specialize in mental health, addictions, trauma, ABI, depression, anxiety, and other emotion and attention regulation difficulties. I offer short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy to youth, adults, and couples in groups and individually.

In addition to working with traditional talk therapy we bring in the body work to assists the client in maintaining groundedness. Psychotherapy addresses some of the same challenges as counselling does, but aims its focus more deeply on the psychological roots of problems and unhealthy behavior patterns. Some of our belief- and behavior patterns develop in childhood, others evolve through subsequent life experiences.
