Family Relationships are often tricky to navigate. I work with families to develop healthier communication patterns and to resolve conflicts that have been difficult to resolve. My approach is Solution Focused and Family Systems oriented. Often people are unaware of the roles they play in their families and how they may be contributing to the continuation of the problem. Helping everyone to understand how they can create positive change in their family is key to creating family harmony. I work with people 16 and older within a family context.

My approach is systemic, meaning I will look at the ways the family is functioning as a whole to gather potential insights and ideas for gently helping the family imagine a different way of being together. I believe family environments are fundamental learning grounds for building attachment and love. I deeply value your own expertise and insight on the ways your family has already come to know how to best love and support each other. My background in relational therapy allows me to understand individuals through the relationships they cohabit. In family therapy, the focus is on the interactions of those that are affected by the presenting concern and strengthening relationships of the family system. Although some concerns may appear to apply to one individual, involvement of family can have positive benefits on both the individual and overall family functioning.
