My approach to couples counseling is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping couples create lasting change both inside and outside of sessions. I help clients come to their own solutions while making sure each partner feels heard, respected, and supported. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help couples identify unhealthy thoughts and behaviors that may be hurting the relationship and replace them with healthier patterns. Sessions are active and goal-oriented, and I often provide exercises or tasks between sessions to help couples practice new skills and create meaningful, lasting improvements in communication and connection. You can come up with your solutions.

Every couple is unique- what works for some, does not work for all. In a nonjudgmental and non-pathologizing space, I help couples of all kinds to create the relationship that will meet both partner's needs. Through thoughtful, heartfelt and insightful discussions, we will arrive together at the model that works best for you and your relationship, and together we can resolve old wounds to help you come together again to support one another with love and kindness.
