I am a strong proponent and advocate of Gottman's Marital research and therapy. Much of my marital work is in helping couples draw healthier boundaries and in establishing a new pattern of relating to eliminate criticism, stonewalling, defensiveness, and contempt.

Our relationships provide the most profound opportunities for growth & healing when we show up with authenticity, vulnerability, curiosity and the courage to honestly explore our unconsciously shaped beliefs, expectations, & behaviors in relationship.

I work with children and families who are struggling and seeking outside intervention and support. As well, if you are married, preparing for marriage, or are having relationship issues, I offer solution-focused, strengths-based couples therapy.

Marriage/Couple counseling can be a useful approach to dealing with difficult issues. We work together to address the deep issues in your relationship. It is a collaborative approach, and one that requires you to be open to new ideas and ways of problem solving.

I work with couples on overcoming communication barriers, developing healthy intimacy, restoring trust, infidelity issues (including internet pornography), boundaries, dealing with addictions, and pre-marital counseling.

I provide couple's therapy using Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy as well as The Gottman Method approach. I am trained in both models of therapy. Together we can undo negative communication patterns and restore the connection you're seeking.
