Are you tired of letting your emotions run the show?
Do you find yourself longing for a better relationship with yourself and others?
Are you ready to embrace your sensitivity and move beyond pain and disappointment?
Are you ready to make real and lasting change with more joy, laughter, and hope?

As a Registered Art Therapist, I am committed to providing compassionate support to these and many more life issues.  You do not have to continue on this self-destructive path of harsh criticism, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm.  Life is too can experience more confidence and joy by letting go of chronic doubt and insecurity.  You can stop working so hard and beating yourself up along the way!  Together we can uncover your beautiful strengths and trade in self-hate for the courage to be yourself!

I use a combination of verbal and experiential therapies such as creative writing, expressive arts, and guided imagery with compassion-focused mindfulness and cognitive behavioral approaches to treat:

I love watching women trade in that mean inner critic for a more compassionate voice of reason, which supports overall emotional health and allows for more joy, play, and laughter in their life and relationships.  I help clients make friends with their feelings as well as the past and the present.  I help clients learn to use their emotions rather than being controlled by them.  You have a unique story and therefore a distinct healing experience, and while the individualized treatment goals may differ the outcome is quite similar: less stress, more joy, and improved confidence for a life worth living!    I celebrate each client as a unique and beautiful human while helping you discover your strengths, value, and worth for a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
I have been helping individuals and families for over six years to learn the tools necessary for improved relationships with themselves and their emotions as well as their friends, family, and loved ones.  I have worked with a variety of populations including adults, adolescents, children, and families in numerous settings including psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and partial-hospitalization along with residential,  in-home and school-based services to address mental and behavioral health issues such as eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, depression, anger and anxiety.  I am an avid nature lover, published author, and practicing artist.
