About my practice specialty:

My practice is a boutique telehealth psychotherapy practice specializing in helping early/mid-career professionals in Tech/STEM, medical, and related fields work towards greater meaning and fulfillment in their lives, careers, and relationships. As a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist, I work with clients to better understand themselves to effectively pursue their goals and live from their deep values. Many of my clients come to my office when they are experiencing depression, anxiety, burn-out, relationship conflict, low self-esteem, or procrastination. I also work extensively with high-achieving individuals on perfectionism, work/life balance, and ADD/ADHD.

Approach to therapy:

Through warm, collaborative, evidence-based psychotherapy, I work with individuals and couples to draw on their strengths to break out of old patterns, discover new perspectives, and build the life they want through living from their deep values. Clients have described my approach as warm, attentive, and appropriately challenging. As a therapist, my approach is interactive and collaborative; integrating psychodynamic, depth-oriented, existential, and humanistic approaches with contemporary evidence-based treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I believe that psychotherapy is a process of collaborative self-exploration into our values, needs, and ways of being with others. From this understanding, I work with his clients to develop the critical skills of self-awareness, psychological flexibility, and emotional presence.

Message to prospective clients:
In the eyes of others, you’ve got a great life. You’re ambitious, driven, and accomplished. Your career testifies to a successful life and maybe you’ve learned to play the part. You’ve learned how to be successful but not how to be happy. You’re searching for a deeper, more meaningful, balanced, and authentic way of living and I can help you realize it. Finding the right therapist is important but it can also be overwhelming. Sometimes we know we need help but not what would be helpful. I encourage you to take a chance and reach out to see if we might be a good fit by reaching out by e-mail to schedule a (no-cost) 10-15 minute phone call to talk about your interest in therapy.
