Tracy has always been drawn to helping others become the best version of themselves. After working in both
community and custody settings with youth and adults, Tracy’s passion led her to expand her area of support by working alongside police to support victims of crime and tragic circumstances. The benefit of working with a wide range of clients has allowed Tracy to stay nonjudgmental and approaches each problem with

as much importance as another.
 
Tracy works with children, youth, and adults and specializes in depression, anxiety, self-esteem, grief and trauma
(domestic abuse, historical abuse, sexual assault, etc.). She believes that despite traumatic events and mental illness everyone is capable and deserving of finding their inner self and letting it shine through. This change begins in

therapy at your own pace by growing together and learning to become your own best friend.
 Therapy with Tracy offers many benefits, including, gaining self-awareness, increased self-confidence and empowerment, overcoming depression, and anxiety, forgiving the past to move forward, and

gaining tools and education for future problems.
 
Tracy works from a client-centered, integrative framework with an emphasis on cognitive behavioural therapy and, psychodynamic therapy that help explore past experiences and relational needs in order to heal ones
childhood self. Tracy’s supportive and straightforward approach allows individuals to take responsibility for their own actions and to move forward toward change. Additionally, Tracy uses mindfulness-based therapy, play based therapy and has experience in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment approaches.


Tracy holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and continuously is learning. Tracy recently became a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist – Family (CCTSF) and Certified Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS). Tracy’s passion and empathy provides a safe and supportive atmosphere for all clients to explore their unique pathway to wellness. Tracy believes that everyone can discover and highlight what makes them unique and learn to be their own best friend in the process.
Tracy is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and Professional Member of the Canadian Association of Play Therapy (CAPT).

 
Tracy’s office space has ample free parking and is in the downtown core of Alliston. Tracy’s office is located at 36 Victoria Street West, Alliston, Suite 303. Tracy also provides online counselling if you are
unable to make it into the office.
