If you are someone struggling with an addiction, or a family member/friend of someone who is addicted, please allow me the opportunity to provide support and guidance. I have numerous years of experience in the addictions field, both in working with individuals with addictions, as well as, family members impacted by the addictions of their loved ones.

They can help individuals gain insight into their addictive behaviors, identify triggers, and learn healthier coping mechanisms. Tools will be offered to manage cravings, build resilience, and improve overall well-being. Additionally, therapy can address any co-occurring mental health issues that may contribute to addiction. Furthermore, they will provide a non-judgmental environment where individuals can receive support, guidance, and encouragement throughout their recovery journey.

Addiction can affect all aspects of a person's life from their work to their relationships. At 3 Chords we work with individuals to regain control of their lives. This is done through engaging in critical thinking, learning to effectively engage in decision-making, learning how to effectively communicate and practice interpersonal skills, increasing self-awareness, self-control, and building resiliency.

Addictions can appear in many forms including substance addictions, internet addiction, sex addiction, gambling addiction, shopping addiction, pornography, social media, excessive exercise, food, etc. Strong cravings with a loss of control can lead people to become addicted in spite of possible dire consequences. Counselling is one of several possible treatments available for addictions. Individual, group and family therapies have been found to be helpful in order to inform a client regarding the harmful effects the addiction may have on themselves, their friends, family and society. Promoting physical, emotional and spiritual well being is often critical for the rehabilitation process.
