And with an understanding of your life purpose, examining potential careers and "next steps" for you to take in your life. We will examine not only your life purpose and career path, but also the ways in which your can live out your values and principles in your life everyday.

While most career counselors love to give you capacity based profiles of what your talents and interests are for your best bet career choices, Grey Matters international believes that most people make predictably irrational decisions and then after making them learn way to make them fit into their identities using various types of rationalizations and strategies. I help clients with addictive behaviours or substance use that is interfering with their ability to achieve a fulfilling career. Through collaborative conversations, clients gain a sense of purpose and direction, overcoming barriers to making meaningful progress in their professional life. Gaining a sense of control over one's life allows for increased confidence and self-esteem. I help clients build the motivation necessary to take steps toward a future filled with passion, thriving, and mental resilliance.

Career counselling is usually a search for something different. A person wants to have an impact or have a purpose in this world. I have some experience helping people in providing life skills as a social worker. Thinking of a persons desire or goals helps to determine a potential career path along with fit with personality. Gaining insight and skills helps a person to move closer to a career.

It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks.
