I have a deep love for working with Christian clients, and it is truly one of the most meaningful parts of my work. My background includes being a Bible major at Wheaton College, completing my doctorate in Christian Counseling at Biola University, and studying at Talbot School of Theology. These experiences have shaped both my faith and my clinical approach. I am passionate about integrating biblical wisdom with sound psychological care, and for clients who desire it, I am honored to incorporate prayer into our sessions. Walking alongside clients in a way that honors both their emotional needs and their faith is something I genuinely value and consider a privilege.

Faith and spirituality can provide comfort and meaning to those guided by their beliefs. I was raised in a Christian household myself so I have an appreciation for the values instilled by religion, the importance of tradition, and the strength of community. My approach to counseling is humanistic and welcoming of all spiritualities. Though I do not incorporate any specific pastoral counsel, I encourage my spiritual clients to draw on their beliefs during the counseling process.

As Christians, we are called to live a life of greatness. With that, we face a multitude of social, emotional, mental and spiritual challenges. My approach to Christian Counseling is simple: "...be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." -Romans 12:2 NIV. In our work together I want to help you become all that God has made you be, in every facet of your life (family, friends, career, etc). Part of the work is seeing where God is uniquely calling you, the other part of the work is seeing what God is calling you out of (aka. understanding what is holding you back). Christianity is valuable in finding forgiveness, removing shame and giving us hope for the future. I also respect your right to live consistently with your religious values and I support your marriage. I do not impose my beliefs, but try to understand the world through YOUR belief system. I have worked with people of ALL religions, including those that are very different from my own.
