There are 12 different communities within the town. They are Old Oakville, Bronte, Eastlake, Clearview, College Park, Iroquois Ridge North and South, Glen Abbey, Palermo, River Oaks, Uptown Core and West Oak Trails. Old Oakville is the original settlement and is located along the shore of Lake Ontario, while Bronte is also located along the shore of Lake Ontario it is located in the southwest portion of the lake. As you look to work towards change, Christian counseling is a great choice for help. Eastlake, as its name refers, is located along the southeast shore of Lake Ontario. The other communities in Oakville have specific boundaries, such as between Upper Middle Road and Dundas Street, as Iroquois Ridge North is located. Oakville’s Planning Department officially divided the town into these communities, which are based on the traditional neighborhoods, rather than having to do with politics.1
