Anger is a universal emotion. We first experienced anger as a very young child. Often our anger told us that we were feeling like a boundary had been crossed. This might show up in being hit by our parents, or being blamed for something we didn't do, or even being made fun of by another, causing us to feel less than those around us. There is nothing wrong with feeling the emotion of Anger. What we need to be aware of is how we show our anger to others. Some find their anger feelings literally hijack them into behaviors that may range from inappropriate to dangerous.
