Couples counselling with me focuses on strengthening connection, improving communication, and helping partners better understand one another’s emotional needs and patterns. Rather than taking sides, I work collaboratively with both partners to identify cycles of conflict, reduce reactivity, and create more effective ways of relating. Drawing from approaches such as the Gottman Method and emotionally focused principles, we work on rebuilding trust, increasing emotional safety, and developing skills for healthy dialogue. I offer mediation and communication techniques and strategies designed to help couples navigate difficult events and situations. I will work with you to gain a deeper understanding of your partner's and your own experiences which may be contributing to miscommunications within the relationship. We will work together to identify common goals and develop a treatment plan specific to your relationship concerns and challenges.

We offer couples counseling and focus on the strengths of each couple to assist them in working better as a team. We help each couple learn to validate each other and encourage open and honest communication with each other. We seek to instill hope and respect into each couple with whom we work. I help couples by focusing on two goals: (1) Communicating constructively about issues; (2) Having a strong relationship friendship. I help couples achieve these goals by giving them skills from Gottman's Sound Relationship House Model and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I am trained in Gottman's model and am certified in CBT.
