When entering a committed relationship we have a desire and expectation for friendship, mutual respect, love and validation. It takes work, it takes courage, it takes support and training to arrive at this ideal.

Marriage is inevitably quite the rollercoaster ride for both individuals involved! My goal is to bring a non-judgemental perspective, and to work with couples to gain insight and better understanding and thereby strengthen their relationship.

My family/couples work could be called "narrative-systemic". Individuals have a personal story of lived experience that influences the filter through which they see their world. Family experiences contribute to this filter and are in turn evident in couples issues.
