As a skilled career counsellor, I help my clients embark on a journey of career exploration and development. I also provide counselling services for those looking to change their careers. Initial career assessments and consideration of interests and personality form the basic steps in discovering and unearthing my client's skills and gifts. I am often surprised at the paucity of resources and knowledge of career routes in modern society. I help my clients find a career path leading to a happy, fulfilled and meaningful lives. We spend the best times of our awake hours at a vocation, wouldn't you want to be in a field where you find joy and fill you matter?

Thinking about a life-long career can be daunting. With so many options and emerging opportunities, one can get lost in thinking of all the choices. Career counselling can help with decision making, leaving a stressful workplace or managing workplace stress. My approach is non-judgmental and collaborative as I believe clients are the experts of their lives.

Maybe as a child you dreamed about having a great life of abundance and achieve greatness. At that age, you were a winner and you would stand up and defend your dreams against any challenges. Unfortunately, lots of people may lose some of that winning spirit growing up and the champion in you may have slowly dimed. Maybe you do set goals and you do have an idea of what your purpose and direction in life is. This simply is not enough for you to experience the abundance in life that you deserve. You have all the potential to radically make a difference! It is already deep inside of you and waiting to be used. Together, we will work toward using that amazing potential.

It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process. It is necessary to develop the ability to structure your own time toward your goal, maintaining the stability necessary to take new opportunities and creative risks. I offer coaching for those motivated to move into this place.

Our career can play a huge role in our life as we devote a large amount of our time and energy to it and often seek a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I have personally made a number of scary career transitions while working to fulfill my potential and find joy in what I do and these scary changes that often included working through paralyzing fear and having to get quite creative made me very passionate about supporting others on a similar quest to find more fulfillment in your work and daily life.

Since the focus of career counseling is career exploration, career change and personal career development, I help you select ways and make plans to get into a career that best suits your aptitudes, personality and interests. Like for other specialties, I use a holistic approach to career counseling. I, together with you assess your strengths and weaknesses, then I walk you through your individual journey, individual plans, and look at your challenges and hopes. I also look at the non-career related factors such as financial challenges, housing, and health that might impact your job search. I see you as a whole person and help to walk the full journey towards the kind of life you want to live

I help clients with addictive behaviours or substance use that is interfering with their ability to achieve a fulfilling career. Through collaborative conversations, clients gain a sense of purpose and direction, overcoming barriers to making meaningful progress in their professional life. Gaining a sense of control over one's life allows for increased confidence and self-esteem. I help clients build the motivation necessary to take steps toward a future filled with passion, thriving, and mental resilliance.
