I believe we are relational by nature, and often, our "individual" problems stem from interpersonal difficulties. Couples and/or family therapy can help you find healthier and more meaningful ways of relating to the people closest to you.

Fighting with a loved one is exhausting -- often based on misconceptions, blame, defensiveness. I can provide you with skills to communicate safely while managing intense emotions and gently explore with you underlying issues in order to promote compassion/resolution.

Healing from Betrayal ~ Infidelity causes so much trauma in relationships. Spouses and partners are often left feeling hurt, betrayed and lost. But relationships can heal, and people do find trust and hope again. I help couples heal the wounds of infidelity.

I specialize in helping people with relationships. I help both married and unmarried couples navigate difficulties relating to communication, sex, and intimacy. I also help single people who are struggling with issues related to intimacy and finding the right partner.

My areas of focus are trauma and play therapy. I use a mind/body approach to treating trauma and the associated symptoms. Play therapy uses the language of play to resolve issues and find solutions.

I use family systems, emotionally focused, attachment and psychodynamic oriented approaches to help couples and families meet their goals to improve their relationships. My clients gain insight and understanding to make changes whilch yield true growth and well being.

Angela recognizes that when one person in a family system is experiencing significant distress, the entire family affected.

I currently work with individuals navigating relationship challenges but do not offer couples or marriage counseling at this time.
