I am an eclectic therapist, which means that I use techniques and theories from many different theories in my work. I believe in finding the right intervention that will resonate and make sense to you so that you are able to move forward towards your personal goals. At the front of therapy with me is a person-centered approach in which I strive to make you comfortable so you feel safe sharing your thoughts and feelings. My approach is eclectic, taking what is effective from various approaches of psychology to help the client to heal. My approah is candid and direct which often helps cutting through dysfunction. Dysfunction stops the flow of love between individuals; to be functional again means restoring a relationship back to what it's main purpose was in the first place - to love, support and to to embrace so growth can occur. Therapy doesn't begin until an individual takes responsibility for what they may be doing that is unhealthy without blaming shifting. Discovering what is co-dependency may also be an excellent tool. I also help client to learn about Old Brain/ New Brain concepts.

I use a variety of modalities inluding talk therapy, cognitive therapy, behavioral therapy, journaling, etc. and work collaboratively with my clients to develop a treatment plan that facilitates you reaching the goals you want to reach. Treatment plans are individualized and evaluated on a regular basis to make sure your needs are being met in a matter that is safe, productive and confidential.
