I have a deep respect for children. I work from a basis of compassion and honoring each child for who they are. I offer play and art therapy. These modes are well suited for children as it is through play that children find a way to sort out their experiences and find new ways to orient themselves in their lives. Art can offer a similar approach to play in that they both access the creative intuitive parts of the brain allowing children to heal and grow through their natural modes of being. There are many types of play therapy and which type is used depends on what the child needs, and what situation they are dealing with.
