I believe that parents have the leadership role in the home and are responsible for setting the pace. When these things get out of balance, problems occur. I strive to help families by giving each member a voice, by empowering parents to take a healthy lead in their homes, and by helping the children approach their parents in appropriate ways so they have influence into the family dynamic.

Beyond mere behavioral training and communication techniques, he uses the principles of Emotionally Focused Therapy to go deeper into the core of clients' hurts, fears, desires, and hopes.
