I currently offer zoom sessions or telephonic support.  Your experience will be professionally and ethically tailored to meet your unique goals and needs. I received a Master of Social Work from the University of Calgary and I am registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers. I have been working in the field of social work for over 16 years and I have been in private practice in Fort McMurray for 7 years. Counselling support is available to individuals age 18 and over who are seeking individual therapy, couples counselling or family counselling. I have experience in and have practiced in the areas of:

I work collaboratively with clients in an individualized manner to determine what type of service they are seeking and what goals they would like to accomplish. My practice and techniques are influenced by and utilize approaches from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Systems Theory and Structural Theory.
 
Therapy is available for those who are seeking support for a variety of issues. Support is available for mental health issues and diagnoses such as Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Personality Disorders among others. I also offer substance abuse assessments (using the SUDDS-V), support and residential referral, anger management, workplace support and organizational solutions, stress management, conflict resolution and Christian counselling upon request. 

Sessions are one hour in length and the number of sessions required are based on individual need and in collaboration with the client.  


Counselling has shown to be an effective way to manage a variety of issues. It can support and positively impact mood, health, relationships, finances and many other facets of daily life. It can provide individuals with enhanced communication, coping strategies and skills that can support both personal and corporate relationships. I enjoy working with clients and consider it a privilege to support others in improving their situations and overall quality of life. I am a compassionate, empathetic and trustworthy individual. My overarching goal is provide professional and confidential support for realm of issues that if left unchecked, can impact smart living, personal goals, achievements and balanced life management.
