As a person who has had a variety of successful careers in sales and marketing before coming to the profession of psychotherapy, I have had a vast amount of employment experience to draw from and I know what it takes to do the things to prepare you for a new career or to do better in your current one. These include building self esteem and becoming clear on what it is you want to do and how you want to make a difference in the world. All my counseling techniques are utilized in this important area.

Career Counseling is about change. In my practice, I do not use assessments or aptitude tests, as I believe the client is the best source of information. Additionally, we will evaluate your level of risk taking, relationships and approaches to pursue a new career path. My style is comprehensive and tailored to you to help your reach your career goals.

Psychotherapeutic tools such as EFT and Mindfulness Based approaches can provide depths of understanding one's self.

Blocks to career can create significant problems with feeling fulfilled in life. This lack of career fulflillment can cause depression, anxiety, feeling out of touch with the self, etc. Sometimes these career blocks occur because the wrong career was chosen or a person feels at a loss as to what a meaningful occupation might be. I work to help people through these blocks using a special focusing technique to help you get in touch with your true feelings. My aim is to get you back in touch with yourself, your passion, your true self so that you can make well informed career and life decisions.

What usually happens is that feelings come up that are getting in your way. We will shine a light on those feelings, putting them in their proper perspective.
