Prior to becoming a therapist, I enjoyed a long and successful career where I specialized in staffing, resource management, and business operations. I am also a fully trained career and life coach, where I work with clients to help them strive for and achieve their personal and professional goals. In therapy, I work with clients on all aspects of their career including: dealing with difficult coworkers, managing work/life balance, pursuing advances in their careers, exploring new careers, job transition and job loss.

Career counselling can be appropriate at any age. Sometimes you might need help in finding inspiration and ideas to follow up on. You may need advice because you are contemplating a change of career. People have different perspectives on what their job means to them. For some it feels like a calling and for others it is more a pay check which enables them to do what they really want. Finding a balance between these poles can be an important step in career choice.

Gaining a sense of control over one's life allows for increased confidence and self-esteem. I help clients build the motivation necessary to take steps toward a future filled with passion, thriving, and mental resilliance.

It is one thing to embark on a new career path, and a whole other to find the sweet spot of purpose, contribution, vitality and practical stability that leads to a really fulfilling vocation. The latter requires the courage to allow, shape and stay with a vision and the skills to navigate the inevitable peaks and valleys in confidence that are natural to the process.
