With a Master’s degree in counseling, I’m trained to treat a wide variety of common mental health issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and relationship issues. However, my passion is helping stressed out men to overcome their barriers, bad-habits, and insecurities to experience healing and breakthrough. I do so using my training in counseling, my experience in ministry, and my expertise as a trained addiction coach. I have been practicing psychotherapy from a non-judgmental perspective for over 25 years. I feel fortunate to have been trained by brilliant mentors at Columbia University in NYC who set me on the path to helping others in an open and honest manner. I use various techniques and strategies in my work including: CBT, DBT, Mindfulness-based Therapy, ACT and Family Systems Therapy. However, when it comes to my clients, regardless of the types of psychotherapies utilized, I believe that they know themselves best.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I provide therapy to individuals, couples and families on a variety of issues such as mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, narcissistic abuse, stress management, family conflicts, couple separation/divorce, communication, stress management, grief and loss. Because every client is unique, I tailor my approach to their specific needs. I use cognitive behavior therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) for trauma, and family systems theory to guide my work. Holding space for clients to share their story, process their pain and gain clarity allows for healing to happen.

I have done psychotherapy for over 42 years in Phoenix and surrounding areas. I am well trained in CBT, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders (Asperger's), Bipolar Disorder Management, and Anger Management. I am a training groupie and continue to update my skills in CBT, OCD, GAD, solution-focused work, and ACT. I have worked with adolescents for many years on many of the issues these individuals are working on, and really enjoy this work.

Dr. Keller has been providing psychotherapy services to children, teens, adults, couples and families for over 30 years. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Counseling and Psychotherapy, and a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology of The American Board of Professional Psychology. Dr. Keller believes that the relationship between therapist and patient is the most important ingredient for change to occur. Dr. Keller is committed to ongoing psychotherapy training and paricipates in peer supervision with other highly trained psychotherapists. He also provides psychotherapy supervison to a wide range of mental health professionals.
