Anger is a very misunderstood emotion. Are you needing to further understand your anger and learn skills to keep it in check? Louisa often works with clients utilizing “The Anger Workbook” by Lorraine Bilodeau, M.S. with positive results. Through this process, client gain better control of anger and how it can motivate positive outcomes in daily living.

Individuals struggling to manage anger can be exhausting and overwhelming; often there is a significant negative effect on others in their life. We will work to uncover where the intense anger is originating from and heal. We will also wok to develop new skills and tools to manage emotional situations in a more positive an effective way. It is also important to work to heal the damage to loved ones whom have been affected.

Although anger is a very natural human experience, what you do with it and how you channel that anger is what matters. Emotional regulation techniques are a forte of mine, and so much of it is learned behaviour from childhood experiences; learned behaviour from caregivers in your life and/or not providing the teaching skills required to manage angry emotions healthily. We will uncover this through therapeutic sessions.
