A large component of career choice is how we view ourselves and what we feel we can accomplish. So there's a big element of identity in there. I use Positive Psychology tools to assess the individual's strengths of character and what they view as important tools for success that they already have in their arsenal. From that perspective, we also look at those character strengths that could use a little further strengthening in order to best serve the individual reach their goals. Dreaming and imagining are big pieces of this process, so we also explore those in depth. I encourage realistic dreaming and identify fears and doubts that getting the way of dreaming and accomplishing dreams.

Questions about work run deeper than they first appear. Feeling stuck, unfulfilled, or burned out in your career, dreading Mondays, or sensing you're on the wrong path entirely — these are rarely solved by a better resume or a quick pros-and-cons list. They usually touch something more personal: what you want, what you're afraid of, and the often-unspoken expectations shaping your choices. I help you sort through career questions at that level. Together we'll look at what's really behind your dissatisfaction or indecision, including the desires and pressures you may not have fully acknowledged, so that any change you make comes from clarity rather than panic.
