My areas of focus are trauma and play therapy. I use a mind/body approach to treating trauma and the associated symptoms. Play therapy uses the language of play to resolve issues and find solutions.

In addition to individual counseling, I provide treatment to couples and families. Areas of treatment include developing effective communication, addressing conflict in a compassionate environment and learning how to support loved ones who are in recovery.

In marriage therapy, I help couples break repetitive arguments and cycles of disconnection by uncovering patterns, improving communication, and fostering understanding. Small nuances are smoothed out, so each partner feels better understood, and the connection deepens.

I have over 29 years of experience helping people and their families cope with a wide variety of relationship changes, adjustment, grief and loss. Using your strengths, I will help you work through these difficult changes to help you manage their impact.
