I believe that there are certain levels of Anxiety and Stress that can be a positive influence for each of us. It is when Anxiety and Stress start to negatively impact our lives that we need to begin the work to discover how we can implement change. My goal as a therapist is to help you explore where the Anxiety and Stress are coming from and to help you make educated choices about how you want to transform.

I will help you address anxiety and stress by taking small, manageable steps that will eventually lead to big changes. I take a gentle cognitive-behavioral approach to helping clients gradually overcome anxiety. I will help you identify beliefs that keep you stuck, and challenge thoughts that perpetuate these unhelpful ideas. I will share with you how avoidance keeps us stuck by tricking our brain and validating that this is how we are kept safe. With support, we will change this cycle by developing corrective experiences that promote new beliefs and ways of being.
