Anger is a normal emotion. Anger is a problem when it is out of control hurtful and destructive. Destructive anger can lead to problems at home, work , school and in relationships. Each persons tolerance level and managing skills are different .Genetic, physiology and ones environment all contribute to the way a person responds to anger. By learning skills to better manage the way an individual appraises a situation and learning positive ways to express and communicate their frustrations and hurts one can experience healthier outcomes.

Anger is a normal human emotion that we all experience. The way we express anger can be what distinguishes us as being healthy or unhealthy partners, parents, co-workers, employees or managers. Anger is generally a surface emotion. Beneath it lies another strong emotion, usually sadness, hurt, fear or inadequacy. In our efforts to protect ourselves from being vulnerable we often act out in anger, which generally takes us farther away from our true goals.
