I quickly focus in on core beliefs that are at the root of their problems. Together we work to modify these beliefs and replace them with healthier beliefs about eating, one’s body, coping with personal traumas, and engaging in sensible exercise. I teach self-control strategies that help them cope and avoid self-defeating eating behaviors.

Eating disorder Counseling will take take place using several therapies including Internal Family systems approach, trauma therapy, CBT and DBT, as well as Mindfulness solution focused therapy. Building on self-love and self-worth will be a significant component of therapy. Individuals will see an increase in confidence and self esteem, along with learning new healthy habits.
