Couples, Families and Relationships I see couples , and families. Communication is key. My approach in dealing with couples is different than most. I have found it to be quite effective. Basically I am teaching skills and habits to create long term relationships.

I also provide couples counseling for alternative and traditional relationships. I use an approach to counseling that leans heavily on Imago therapy, where you will learn how to communicate more effectively with your partner so that needs and desires are heard.

It is my personal and professional policy to treat all persons with dignity and respect. I believe that each couple has their own identity and uniqueness, and I tailor interventions to address the specific goals which the couple seeks to achieve.

With couples, I show each partner how first to control their emotional reactions (anger & hurt) and how to negotiate for what they want. This enables each individual to respond more effectively to their partner and increases the chances of problem resolution.
