Are you ready for a change in your career but don't know where to start? Maybe you feel stuck in a job and cannot see a way out. These thoughts and others sometimes prevent someone from exploring their options in a career move. My life coach training and counselling experience will help my clients see what is possible and the options of getting there. I may use CBT, Narrative Therapy and/or Solution Based Therapy in helping my clients. We are often limited by our own imagination.

Your chosen career path is a reflection of where you want to go and what you want to accomplish in your lifetime. However, due to physical, mental, economic, familial, or emotional limitations, among others, it is possible that you may feel you are unable to work towards your desired career path. Additionally, it is possible that you may be unaware of what your career path might be. In career therapy, we will explore your interests, desires, strengths and challenges, your spirituality, education level and social, political or economical limitations, to discover what work might be meaningful, suitable and fruitful for you. We will then create a plan to work towards your desired career path.

I can provide strategies for you to find new or different employment successfully. I'm not only a registered psychotherapist but I'm also a success coach. I have a PhD in leadership and policy and a background in business. I've had many jobs and careers from modelling, personal training, to a Bell operator and a Purolator driver. I've been in retail sales, and sold photocopies, PR, and software. I've been a teacher of primary/junior students, and professor in sales, and a professor in graduate education. I have owned a restaurant, and a tutoring company. I am sure I have missed something! I'm reinventing myself once again looking to be an author! Let me help you find your way!
