Hope centered Counselling is working towards building a coast to coast service because we just really want to help as many people as we can. We are having therapists join the team to meet the ever growing needs and changes in our communities and country. Psychotherapy is primarily a talk-based therapy and is intended to help you improve and maintain positive mental health and well-being. I work with individuals, couples and families in individual and group settings. Psychotherapy occurs when the Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and client enter into a psychotherapeutic relationship where both work together to bring about positive change in the client’s thinking, feeling, behaviour and social functioning. Individuals usually seek psychotherapy when they have thoughts, feelings, moods and behaviours that are adversely affecting their day-to-day lives, relationships and the ability to enjoy life.

I embrace uniqueness and everyone's experiences ARE unique, they're ours. I approach each client with uniqueness and authenticity. I like to apply psychodynamic counselling and empowerment strategies to aid in better understanding our experiences and feelings while striving to build our voices and assert ourselves in the present and the future.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a special education teacher, which deepened my appreciation for every person's unique experiences and strengths.
