I will help you explore options, learn to discover insight into your own unique characteristics, and role-play communication skills. This process may include working with a life coach or other professional as a team in exploring your future career options.

Having been through a number of different careers in my life I have the first-hand experience of knowing what it feels like to go through such transitions. For so many years I couldn't find my passion which created a lot of drawbacks in my life. Today I don't see these as drawbacks but stepping stones to be where I am today. I can help you find your passion through your journey on the path you are creating. We are all writing our own story and this is only a chapter in your book. In our Career Coaching practice, we have found these 3 methods to be the most powerful when it comes to helping you discover your career roadmap - the right major, right talents or career. 1. Jackson Vocational Interest Survey (JVIS) is the "Career Roadmap" which will help you determine the best career fit. 2. CareerPlanner Personality Test (CPPT) is the "Personality Blueprint" which will highlight your talents, skills, strengths, weaknesses, interests and how they coincide with your career roadmap. 3. Jump Start Coaching Hour (JSCH) is the "Life Coach" who will guide you in the planning and implementing of the "Career Roadmap". All you need to do is make a small investment.

Dr. Strauss offers career counseling through New Leaf Psychology Centre. In order to facilitate decision making, sessions will first assess your current skills, assets and interests. Your level of fulfillment at your current place of work, and obstacles to fulfillment will also be discussed. Potential career changes will be reviewed, with the goal of helping you come to a decision that you are comfortable with.
