Are you wondering if online therapy or counseling is for you?

Is therapy frequently something you wish you would do, and you just can’t find the time?

Perhaps you are concerned about finding a therapist near you who is a good fit?

If this rings true, please read on!

I have to admit, I was skeptical at first. Yet, after more than a year of offering online counseling, I can genuinely say that it works. In fact, I’ve been so pleasantly surprised that I will maintain an online counseling practice even when California is fully open again.

Via a secure online platform, I work with people from all walks of life. As part of my offerings, I support people process relational trauma from difficult childhoods, anxiety, depression, body image, and other life experiences.

I'm grateful that I've been able to continue to offer my services, and to broaden my service area outside of the Bay Area to the Greater State of California, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Online therapy is also known as online counseling, telehealth, teletherapy, virtual therapy, virtual counseling, distance therapy - you get the drift. Basically, it involves finding a comfortable space with privacy - your home, car, office, or someplace else that works for you - and logging into a secure video conferencing platform to connect with your therapist. I use Zoom, which is HIPAA compliant and secure.

As an integrative psychotherapist, my style of practice is eclectic, multifaceted, and tailored to your own needs.

With a foundation in depth psychotherapy, I blend mindful self-compassion, parts-work (Internal Family Systems/IFS), as well as humanistic and relational approaches to facilitate your healing process.
We will work towards building insight and bringing to consciousness elements of your experience that may have remained hidden, or obstructed, yet continue to often show up in undermining ways in your day-to-day experience. By building insight, we learn and cultivate new ways to respond to life, instead of coming from a place of reaction.
In essence, therapy can help you tap into your own inner wisdom, since I fundamentally believe that we all harbor a sense of knowing that comes from being in touch with the deepest parts of ourselves.
What is also immensely important to me, and central to my approach, is to provide trauma-informed and trauma-responsive care, as well as a commitment to collective liberation.
