My Approach

Hi! I'm Brittany. As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to meet my clients where they are at. With an easy-going, down-to-earth personality, my laid-back therapeutic style provides a comfortable space for my clients to share their story and work through their struggles. I have a natural born passion for helping individuals navigate the unavoidable bumps and hurdles that life puts in our way. Maybe you’re struggling in your relationship or are undergoing some serious stress in your life. You could be feeling anxious, sad, stuck in a rut or simply don't even know what is bothering you. Whatever your situation, I’m here to help.
My Journey
From a very young age I always knew I wanted to help people - in whatever way that meant. Whether it tutoring, teaching or giving my friends relationship advice, I have always loved watching moments of growth happen before my eyes. I’ve always had a keen interest in the workings of the human mind and an empathetic understanding of the experiences of those around me. What better way to incorporate these passions into a career that’s both rewarding and uplifting - therapy. It was these passions that lead me to my dream career as a registered psychotherapist (qualifying).
I truly enjoy being able to break down the stigma surrounding mental health services - to introduce individuals to the wonderful advantages of attending therapy, all of  which is reflective in one of my areas of specialization – working with men and men’s issues. I also have a keen interest in working with couples and individuals experiencing relationship struggles, life transitions and mood disorders such as anxiety or depression. I am also well equipped to assist you with wide variety of other presenting struggles, as outlined in my profile!

I currently hold an MA in Counselling Psychology and a BA in Psychology and Sociology. I possess a valid license with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and hold a professional membership with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
