Susan Wenzel, Relationship Expert & Certified Sex-Therapist; MA, AASECT, CCPA. Susan is the first AASECT Certified Sex Therapist in Manitoba. She is a relationship expert, clinical sexologist and psychotherapist. Susan has over nine years of experience working with individuals and couples. As a private practitioner, Susan facilitates seminars and workshops on sexuality and relationships. She makes clients feel comfortable, accepted and easy to talk to during the counselling process. Susan believes that a positive therapeutic relationship with her clients is vital to change, healing and personal growth.
Susan is a certified member of American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counsellors and Therapists (AASECT) and Canadian certified counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She is currently a board member of Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg. She has completed a Masters of Arts in Counselling & has a B.A. from Providence University College in Manitoba. Susan has completed the Clinical Sexology Certification from I.S.S.R (Institute for sexual realization) in Los Angeles. Susan was born in Kenya and immigrated to Canada in 1999 to further her studies. She lives in Winnipeg with her husband and their two beautiful children.

Susan specializes in families, couples and individual counselling. She helps clients deal with unwanted emotions as well as recovery from present and past hurts, disappointment, trauma, sexual problems, anger and stress management. Her clinical approach includes Person-Centered Psychotherapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and sex therapy. Susan is also a registered Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainer (ASIST facilitator).
