Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an approach related to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) that is based in science. Using ACT, I aim to help you increase your psychological flexibility, enabling a more adaptable set of emotional responses to your current difficulties. By learning about yourself, you will better be able to act as your own mentor and have more resilience in managing future difficulties. Throughout therapy, we will explore, values, goals, mindfulness (present-centeredness), thoughts, and feelings that may be holding you back and those that may be motivating as well.
