I look forward to helping clients through career counselling in making difficult transitions easier. I believe in first developing meaningful connections with my clients. Instead of relying on career aptitude tests and personality tests I will want to understand the clients' worries and desires. I will look to setting up specific goals with my clients and redirecting them to their goals.

I understand that life transitions can bring about a sense of uncertainty, especially when it comes to your career path. In our career counseling sessions, we'll take a holistic approach, exploring your skills, interests, and values to help you make informed decisions. We'll also look at practical aspects like resume building and interview techniques. While change can be daunting, it's also an opportunity for growth and new beginnings. Together, we'll work to not only navigate these transitions but to also turn them into stepping stones for a fulfilling career and a brighter future.

I help clients with addictive behaviours or substance use that is interfering with their ability to achieve a fulfilling career. Through collaborative conversations, clients gain a sense of purpose and direction, overcoming barriers to making meaningful progress in their professional life. Gaining a sense of control over one's life allows for increased confidence and self-esteem. I help clients build the motivation necessary to take steps toward a future filled with passion, thriving, and mental resilliance.

Olivia finds great joy in helping clients navigate career counseling by guiding them to identify their passions and explore potential career paths. She works collaboratively with clients to consider all options, develop actionable strategies, and create a clear plan forward in their chosen field. Olivia believes strongly in the importance of finding purpose and fulfillment in one’s work and empowers clients to align their careers with their values and strengths. Whether clients are seeking a new direction, transitioning careers, or simply refining their goals, Olivia is committed to helping them discover their unique niche and build a future that inspires them.

My approach to career counselling and planning is taken from the now famous resource Designing Your Life. We apply Design Thinking to reframe obstacles to opportunities in creative ways that may be impossible to imagine now. Then we design plans to give you the inspiration and practical experiences that prove what career decision will bring you the greatest happiness, fulfillment, and reward.
