Through locating where you are in the process of change and untangle the elements that are keeping you from moving towards a life of purpose and passion.

In our career counseling sessions, we'll take a holistic approach, exploring your skills, interests, and values to help you make informed decisions. We'll also look at practical aspects like resume building and interview techniques. While change can be daunting, it's also an opportunity for growth and new beginnings. With dual training as a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant, I specialize in helping individuals navigate emotional barriers and re-engage in meaningful life activities, including a successful return to work. I have supported numerous clients in making informed decisions and navigating career transitions using standardized assessments and comprehensive information gathering—empowering them to achieve success and fulfillment in their employment journeys.

We utilize motivational interviewing and value worksheets as tools to provide comprehensive support to clients who are navigating career choices. Our skilled counselors utilize this technique to facilitate conversations that empower clients to identify their personal values, goals, and motivations. By exploring their intrinsic motivations and clarifying their career aspirations, clients gain insight into their priorities and desires, enabling them to make informed and meaningful decisions.

I thoroughly enjoy working with young adult clients on assisting them in beginning their career journey. I also work with adult clients who are in the beginning stages of making career changes including going back to school. I know how scary "change" can be especially when it has financial implications. Career Counselling with me begins with developing rapport and relationships. We move at a pace you are comfortable with and examine the variables involved in decision-making. I support clients throughout the change process.

Assistance with individuals seeking new career opportunities involves one-on-one counselling, career assessment testing, resume preparation, and developing effective networking, interviewing and negotiating skills. Adventura offers personal counseling to deal with work related issues limiting your success and happiness on the job. Also, career counseling can assist students interested in choosing an academic major or graduate program, identifying potential careers or areas of professional interest, or working to integrate their academic and/or professional pursuits with their broader life choices.

Having worked in the finance industry for many years, I help clients remove their blocks, create clarity and help with work towards their career(dream job). My treatment involves having the client work on: financial plan that includes their goals. We go through obstacles and mental blocks; and their fears of success. Clients feel motivated, they learn how to build resources, change their negative beliefs to positive, and learn new skills to communicate effective.

Career is more than a job to make money and pay the bills. Our careers give us a sense of meaning and purpose , help us have a sense of belonging and contribution in society, and provide us with a sense of security, achievement and progress through life. Career counselling helps you get in touch with what you value in a career and how you can choose a career or transition between careers in a way that is in line with your authentic self.
