I work with my clients to explore their values, passions, strengths and interests. I can help clients increase motivation and break through barriers that prevent them from reaching fulfillment of their talents and potential. Together, we work to develop an action plan and take steps that advance you to a career that evokes joy and satisfaction.

Your chosen career path is a reflection of where you want to go and what you want to accomplish in your lifetime. However, due to physical, mental, economic, familial, or emotional limitations, among others, it is possible that you may feel you are unable to work towards your desired career path. Additionally, it is possible that you may be unaware of what your career path might be. In career therapy, we will explore your interests, desires, strengths and challenges, your spirituality, education level and social, political or economical limitations, to discover what work might be meaningful, suitable and fruitful for you. We will then create a plan to work towards your desired career path.

I can provide strategies for you to find new or different employment successfully. I'm not only a registered psychotherapist but I'm also a success coach. I have a PhD in leadership and policy and a background in business. I've had many jobs and careers from modelling, personal training, to a Bell operator and a Purolator driver. I've been in retail sales, and sold photocopies, PR, and software. I've been a teacher of primary/junior students, and professor in sales, and a professor in graduate education. I have owned a restaurant, and a tutoring company. I am sure I have missed something! I'm reinventing myself once again looking to be an author! Let me help you find your way!

A career is more than just a way to pay the bills. Every person spends most of their life in their careers and the career satisfaction/non-satisfaction spills over to the person’s personal life, too. It can be the environment, interpersonal relationships, the skills and talents required for the job, and ultimately the person’s view of the job.
