I am a Christian that counsels, utilizing prayer in my practice and personal life and using biblical information and knowledge to form our direction in the counselling room can be helpful in navigating life's difficulties on earth. I offer a client centered approach so our sessions are tailored to your individual needs, utilizing a variety of modalities including pastoral counselling, CBT, DBT, psychoanalytic, play therapy and the list goes on. I hold a Masters of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University. I also spent over 20 years involved in various Christian Leadership roles. I do not practice or hold to this religion any longer. In my clinical work, I work with clients who are processing spiritual abuse/trauma and I regularly work with clients who are navigating deconstruction. I believe it is important to clarify, I am affirming and fully accepting of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I consider myself an ally to this community. In my clinical work, I consider it an honour to work with members of this community who have been wounded by the Christian Church.
