I have worked with clients who have issues stemming from trauma/abuse and self-esteem. Together we take the necessary steps to change. We will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to understand the emotional disturbances that stem from eating disorders. I also believe in utilizing additional social service networks to assist in this approach if deemed necessary.

In eating disorder counselling, we will work to normalize your thoughts, redefine healthy body image and perception, dispute irrational thoughts and unhelpful thinking styles, develop alternative perspectives, and form coping techniques to help deal with daily life and common stressors. Eating disorders can be fatal, and it is urged to seek treatment as soon as possible.
