Primary Focus I practice listening, attention and being curious with my clients. I provided a safe, supportive, experienced and knowledgeable therapeutic presence. How do the first couple of sessions work? The first session or two allows me to gather essential information about clients’ experiences, concerns, developmental and medical history, this, in turn, informs the therapeutic goals and mode of therapeutic approach we will take. Together we develop a treatment map that is based on the client's goals and what they wish to accomplish in therapy. My philosophy and ways of working I strive to integrate features of a client’s mind, body, spirit, and community connections to promote and support their health, healing, and change.

I am a registered psychologist in Alberta and currently transferring my license to Ontario so that I can serve clients who live in the WIndsor area. I provide evidence-based treatment and assessment for adolescents and adults. I have worked in inpatient, outpatient, residential, private practice, university, and forensic settings and am presently hold licensure in Alberta, Ontario (as a registered psychotherapist), and North Carolina. I have successfully treated individuals from varied cultural, religious, racial, and gender-identity backgrounds on a wide range of psychological conditions. In addition to providing psychotherapy, I am competent in administering a wide range of psychological assessments.

Ok so you got a diagnosis. Now what? During therapy, we will work together to co-create a set of goals to treat your emotional, behavioral, and/or relational problems. Therapy can occur individually, with couples, families, or groups. The most important aspect of therapy is the development of a therapeutic alliance, which is a trusting relationship that helps facilitate the changes needed to achieve growth.
