I provide a safe space to explore where you are right now and where you want to be. We all have times in our lives where we feel stuck or where we feel we are moving backwards in life. You are not alone and you do not have to suffer. Therapy and self exploration can be life changing and transformative. I can offer assistance in helping you to feel more empowered, self confidant, improve your communication skills, gain insight, make healthier choices, and to develop coping mechanisms to manage stress.

I have a Master's degree in Social Work and have extensive experience in working with individual's, couple's, and families including adolescence. I am a consolidative therapist and use a variety of therapeutic approaches. I specialize in CBT, DBT, ERP using a trauma informed, attachment theory and  mindfulness based integrative approach. These approaches are adaptable to many distressing  symptoms and relational issues. This includes emotional regulation, exploring how our thoughts impact our behaviors and relationships, addiction issues and mood disorders.

The mind and the body are closely and intrinsically linked and requires a holistic therapeutic approach. When we fail to practice self care, self compassion and mindfulness, this can sometimes present itself in physical, anxiety or depressive symptoms. The mind-body connection is real and has a powerful impact on our overall well being every day and on every level. I invite you to join me in discovering how this approach can be used in treating both mental and physical disorders.

Specific to couples and family therapy, my approach includes a combination of Emotionally Focused Therapy (ERP), Reflective Listening and Family Systems Theory. In a safe, non-judgmental environment, conflict, emotions, thoughts and behaviors will be explored in order to improve communication, strengthen relationships and re-establish allies.
