I am originally from Montreal and have lived in the GTA since 2002.  I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).  I initially completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology of Communication. I then graduated with a Master’s Degree in Analysis and Development of Organization and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University.  Over the years, I have developed a diversified skill set covering:  Psychoeducation, group facilitation, and delivering multiple psychotherapy modalities.  I am experienced working with adults, youth, and couples experiencing various mental health concerns and have obtained specialized skills training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches.
I integrate evidence-based practices such as Self-Compassion, the Client-Centred Framework, and Talking-Therapy techniques in my work.  I am available to support clients in developing strategies to deal with emotional challenges such as sadness, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship struggle, anger, and loss.  I am also available to work with youth and families facing emotional, and behavioural concerns.
The specific concerns that I provide support for include mild, moderate to severe mental health disorders such as:
1. Generalized Anxiety
2. Depression,
3. Bipolar disorder
4. Post-traumatic stress
5. Major depression, and
6. Borderline personality disorder
7. Codependency
8. Self-Esteem

My integrative approach includes common factors that cross many therapies, including empathy, non-judgment, inspiring hope, and assisting with alternate views of the self and world.   My compassionate nature believes in a warm and flexible approach to psychotherapy.   I am deeply committed to supporting people bringing positive change to their lives. Whether addressing challenges rooted in the past or present, I provide a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where healing and progress can occur, and peace, enjoyment, and inner clarity can emerge.

My role is to help people Getting Past the Pain and Powerlessness of Resentment and to help them develop ways to develop healthy boundaries, self-love, self-worth, and self-acceptation.  Therapy is an opportunity to increase our own resilience and to learn how to cope with undesirable life events.  I believe that through mutual trust, insight, and understanding, we can create a space where you feel safe and understood and where you can learn about yourself in your own way in a warm and empathetic environment.Types of Therapy used to cope with anxiety and depression are;CBT- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
EFT- Emotion-Focused Therapy
DBT-Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Skills (Emotions regulations skills)- Talking Therapy
