Kindred Hope Wellness' team assists clients working through career transitions by discussing professional stresses, passions, and motivations in regard to their careers. Another focus is how work impacts all individuals' daily life and relationship. Our team's approach is in building strategies, skills, motivations, and others that suit each client's needs. The goal is for the client to see what path they truly want to take in their career and clients will benefit in feeling a better sense of balance between professional and personal life.

There can be a lot of pressure to figure out one’s career or to decide where one fits within a particular field. Oftentimes this is a winding road rather than a straight route. Having been through a number of different careers in my life I have the first-hand experience of knowing what it feels like to go through such transitions. For so many years I couldn't find my passion which created a lot of drawbacks in my life. Today I don't see these as drawbacks but stepping stones to be where I am today. Dr. Strauss offers career counseling through New Leaf Psychology Centre. In order to facilitate decision making, sessions will first assess your current skills, assets and interests. Your level of fulfillment at your current place of work, and obstacles to fulfillment will also be discussed. Potential career changes will be reviewed, with the goal of helping you come to a decision that you are comfortable with.

We spend a huge chunk of our lives working, and it's crucial that the jobs we hold are ones that fulfil, challenge, and nourish us.
