I work in tandem with parents and families to provide individual therapy for children and youth over the age of 7. Through talk therapy with elements of play and creativity, we can work together to learn more about improving wellness, conflict resolution, school progress, and more. With over twelve years of experience as an educator in addition to my recent therapeutic work, I hope to create a safe, fun, and rewarding therapeutic experience for you and your child.

Children can be impacted by transitions and traumas in their lives. When they don’t know how to cope, the stress can build up. I provide safe and compassionate counselling where the child can talk about their feelings without the fear of being judged, better understand why they feel this way and learn strategies to move forward. I help children express their feelings and emotions through the lenses of play and art therapy combined with cognitive behavioural therapy for children. examples of common problems that can be addressed in my therapy: -bullying -loss/grief separation/divorce -depression, anxiety and panic -attachment disorder -behavioural challenges -learning difficulties
