I'm lucky enough to love what I do for a living and enjoy every day I
have the opportunity to work with clients. Connecting with people on a
personal level is important to me, and I feel honored by my clients'
willingness to share their lives and put their trust in me.
I have a passion for doing group therapy. I enjoy the energy and growth that can take place for people in such a short time.
I received my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara
University, and I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #MFC49614.
I became a certified domestic violence counselor in 2005 and a
certified crisis counselor in 2008.
My goal is to empower clients so they can live their best life.
I believe that therapy facilitates healing by allowing you to express
who you really are and the pain you're experiencing in a confidential,
supportive environment. My goal is to provide you with a safe and caring
space, where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and learn
practical tools.
I'm passionate about working with people on issues such as overcoming
depression, trauma and abuse, reducing anxiety, increasing self-esteem,
exploring creativity and assertiveness training.
I have extensive experience working with individuals with Trauma, PTSD, Sexual Abuse, and Domestic Violence.
In addition to groups I work with individual adults, couples and families.
